Overview

This Extractor King 5 lb closed loop hydrocarbon extractor is built in stainless steel for running passive or active recovery. Material loads into an 8 x 24 inch column, and a 10 x 22 inch dewaxing sleeve lets you chill the solution to drop out waxes before it reaches the collection base.

Below the column is a 10 x 13 inch base and a 10 x 6 inch fully jacketed platter for collecting shatter or splatter; the jacket lets you warm or cool the collection with circulating fluid. The platter sits on wheels so you can move it out to work.

You can watch the run through an inline sight glass and two union sight glasses in the lid, and two stainless steel high-pressure vacuum gauges show what is happening in the system. Flow is controlled with Swagelok valves.
